GRT Lawyers has been shortlisted for the legal industry’s most prestigious awards, as a finalist to win Innovator of the Year at the 2018 Australian Law Awards, hosted by Lawyers Weekly, Australia’s leading legal news source.
The 18th annual Australian Law Awards, in partnership with UNSW Law, recognises the outstanding
contribution of Australia’s top lawyers and legal firms across 33 categories. Winners in the individual categories will automatically be shortlisted for the coveted Lawyers Weekly Excellence Award.
Lawyers Weekly editor, Emma Ryan, said this year’s Australian Law Awards is set to be the biggest yet.
“The Australian Law Awards is the pinnacle of events for the nation’s legal profession,” Ms Ryan
said.
“This year’s finalists radiate an outstanding level of professionalism, dedication and drive to take the business of law to greater heights, from the managing partners and general counsel to the barristers, legal scholars and young guns.
“It is our honour to host this event for the 18th year running. On behalf of the team, I’d like to congratulate all of this year’s finalists. We look forward to celebrating with you soon.”
Glenn Vassallo, Managing Director at GRT Lawyers said he was humbled by the nomination.
Founded in 2011, GRT Lawyers is an astute and trusted advisor working collaboratively with clients to simplify and solve complex legal and business problems.
“GRT Lawyer’s recognition for its unique fully integrated social purpose law firm established
simultaneously with its own social enterprise, built side by side with the law firm. GRT Lawyers
operates in a tandem structure with the GRT Foundation, a registered charity established at the
same time as GRT Lawyers (in 2011). The law firm works in close integration with the GRT
Foundation, providing financial and administrative support.
The winners will be announced at a black-tie awards dinner on Friday, 31 August 2018 at The Star, Sydney.
